“They could take everything away from me, but they could not take away my dreams.” - Ruth Bindefeld Neray
Welcome
First, let me give you a warm welcome and thank you for visiting me on the Internet. I wish you peace, love and joy.
If you have come to this site expecting to read a lot about the Holocaust, you may be disappointed. It was important for me to write my book, not only to bear witness but also because it was cathartic for me to write it. It’s true, I would like nothing more than for you to read it or listen to the audiobook version. But now it’s done, and although I may continue to write about my experience in the concentration camps from time to time in this blog, I choose not to live in the past.
I dedicate my site to the six million Jews who were not as fortunate as I am. I dedicate this site to the millions of men, women and children all over the world and throughout history who have been persecuted for no other reason than their ethnic background. I dedicate this site to life. I dedicate this site to my beloved children and grandchildren. And I dedicate this site to you. You are truly welcome here.
Sincerely,
Ruth Bindefeld Neray
