This book is a beautifully-written, young woman’s experience of “what comes after” the Holocaust. I had often imagined what would have happened to Anne Frank had she lived; this book is a surprising doorway into that life. I have read many survivor’s stories, but Ruth Bindefeld Neray provides a unique and fresh take on a baffling time following a horrendous chapter in both her own and human history.
